The pandemic saw us pause the club for a full 18 months, but we cautiously returned in late 2021, and we were pleased to see our regular players make a welcome return, and to be joined by a whole host of new faces throughout 2022.

This past year has seen some inter-club tournaments return to life. In October '22 we hosted the UK National Tournament in Nottingham, where we were joined by some familiar faces from a host of UK LGBT+ clubs, and for the first time were joined by the Bad Mittens from Leeds. Manchester took home the lion's share of the medals, but GOLD medals were also claimed by Glasgow, Edinburgh and Leeds. The evening social took us to The Roberts, The GOAT and The Forresters, which concluded a hugely entertaining and successful event.

Back in June, we invited over Midlands Out for a return of the East 'v' West Tournament. But despite the best efforts of Andrew S. & Samuel M. who claimed the gold medal, it was our Birmingham friends who took home the trophy this time. Let's just say we were a little rusty.

In terms of socials, we held our Annual Awards Ceremony in Sept, along with a games evenings at Roxy Ballroom. And in December, we joined the Nottingham Lions for the traditional festive get-together.
